Perspectives will open the eyes of your heart with fresh knowledge and understanding of God's unchanging purposes and why they're relevant to your life. "Perspectives on the World Christian Movement" is a 15 week course which can help every Christian understand the BIG Picture of why God has His Church here on earth to redeem humanity to himself. Classes are offered in the spring and fall semesters at various churches and other locations in Northern California.

Encountering the World of Islam

Are Muslims open to the gospel? God is at work redeeming those we have often wrongly feared. He wants to call them by his name! Encountering the World of Islam guides you on a journey into the lives of Muslims around the world, and in your neighborhood. Through this comprehensive course, you will learn about Muhammad and the history of Islam. Gain insight into today's conflicts and western fears and myths. Discover the frustrations and desires of Muslims, and learn how to pray for and befriend them. Encountering the World of Islam provides a positive, balanced, and biblical perspective on God's heart for Muslims, and equips you to reach out to them in Christ's love.

Asian American Christianity

Many consider Christianity a Western religion that is foreign to Asians and Asian Americans. Asian American Christianity lacks a sustained treatment despite the high percentage of adherents. This course will provide both the Asian and Asian American community with resources for renewal and transformation. Asian American Christians can understand themselves better and therefore more effectively work towards the common good of in a rapidly changing and religiously pluralistic world. This course will help revise and renew our definition of what America is and, in particular, what American Christianity is. It will also contribute to an increasing awareness of the globalization of Christianity.
